We bought our house from an elderly couple who’d kept it well-maintained; however, it needed updating. Our desires included replacing the marble with wood-flooring; replacing the flooring in all bathrooms and kitchen with tiles and modifying both the kitchen and master bathrooms. We had never undertaken a major renovation like this and went into this endeavour with trepidation. We knew we wanted multiple bids and had them from three contractors, including from La Gardenia Service & Travel.

All three bids were close to one another; however, only La Gardenia Service & Travel seemed to want to work for us: they were the most responsive and would answer any question we had almost immediately. They came over several times during the initial inquiry to review what we wanted and offer suggestions. We weren’t sure if their responsiveness would change after we signed the project agreement, but we were pleased to find it didn’t. We found their professionals all to be friendly, courteous, timely, and conscientious to clean up before they left for the day. To ensure they finish the project in a timely manner, they asked us if they could work on Saturdays, which was okay with us.

Of course, as with any large project, there are likely to be some missteps. Every misstep was reworked without question and at no cost to us! As the project progressed, we asked for some additions and/or changes; every addition or change we requested was considered and quoted without hesitation. The overall experience with Chantal and her team was very positive and we highly recommend them for your next home remodelling project. We received many compliments on our remodelled home and we are very pleased with the results.
